Seething Airfield is a popular airfield for visitors from around the country and from the continent. The airfield is situated in beautiful Norfolk countryside and is a great destination for a day trip or a longer stay.
Visiting pilots are welcome at Seething Airfield. Prior Permission Required (PPR) for all visiting aircraft. Please use our online form to request PPR, or call 01508 550453 or email [email protected] to arrange your visit.

Landing & Parking Fees
Seething airfield is member-owned and expensive to maintain. Your landing fee will go to the costs of maintaining the airfield infrastructure.

- Special call out to open the airfield: £50
- Overnight parking: Charged at the applicable landing fee per night

All visiting aircraft require Prior Permission Required (PPR). Please use our online form, contact the airfield on 01508 550453, or email [email protected] to arrange your visit.
On arrival, please call Seething Radio on 118.435 MHz for joining instructions. 24LH 06RH at 1000ft QFE.
Please be aware that Seething Airfield is a busy training airfield with a mix of student and experienced pilots. Please maintain a good lookout at all times.
Local Attractions
Seething Airfield is situated in beautiful Norfolk countryside and is a great base for exploring the local area. The Norfolk Broads are just a few miles away, and the historic city of Norwich is within easy reach.
The airfield has a clubhouse with a bar and kitchen which is open to visitors at weekends and on special occasions. The clubhouse serves a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks, and light meals.
The airfield is also home to the 448th Bomb Group Memorial Museum, which tells the story of the USAAF 448th Bomb Group who were based at Seething during World War II. The museum is free to enter and open to visitors on the first Sunday of each month from May to October.
